Scalp Aesthetic Studio

Fading & Long-Term Results

Will I need touch-ups forever?

SMP does not have a universally accurate lifetime touch-up schedule. The studio's regular SMP refresh guidance is 4–5 years, not a guaranteed duration; actual needs depend on the visible result and individual circumstances. Quick Density is a separate service with 2–3-month maintenance and retouch guidance, not the regular SMP schedule. Both are distinct from the existing complimentary minor refinement within 12 months of your final scheduled session. Reassessment should establish whether treatment is useful rather than making every visit an automatic refresh.

What You Should Know

  • Regular SMP refresh guidance, Quick Density maintenance, and minor refinement describe three different arrangements.
  • Visible change does not necessarily mean all pigment has disappeared.
  • A maintenance consultation can reasonably conclude that no additional treatment is needed.

When to Seek Professional Advice

Confirm which service you received and ask the studio to identify whether a proposed visit is minor refinement, routine refreshment, Quick Density maintenance, or correction.
