The process,
and the healing.
A complete treatment spans two to four bespoke sessions, spaced one to two weeks apart to allow for optimal dermal healing. Here is exactly what happens in the chair — and what to do between visits.
Step by step
Consultation
Assessment, hairline mapping and pigment matching. Complimentary and private, virtual or in person.
Foundation session
The base layer is placed — lighter than final, establishing shape and structure. Two to four hours.
Density build
Subsequent sessions add depth, correct healing variance and refine the edge.
Refinement & care
Final detail pass, aftercare protocol and a long-term maintenance plan.
Aftercare, day by day
Days 0–4 — Keep it dry
No washing, sweating, swimming or steam. Pat away any light weeping with a clean tissue. Sleep on a fresh pillowcase.
Days 5–7 — Gentle wash
Rinse with lukewarm water and a fragrance-free cleanser using fingertips only. No scrubbing, no exfoliation, no shaving.
Days 8–14 — Moisturize & protect
Apply a light non-comedogenic moisturizer once daily. Resume light exercise. Keep the scalp out of direct sun.
Ongoing — SPF and refresh
Daily SPF 30+ on exposed scalp is the single biggest factor in longevity. Most clients schedule a refresh every two to four years.
What healing looks like
Impressions appear darker and sharper for the first four to six days, then soften by roughly 20–30% as the skin settles. That softening is expected and is why density is built across sessions rather than in one sitting.
